Microsoft Permanently Lowers Avowed Price on Xbox and PC Ahead of PS5 Release
Avowed was released on Xbox and PC almost a year ago. Following the recent announcement of the PS5 version, Microsoft has lowered the price of the base game on all platforms, planning to maintain it for Sony as well.
Now Avowed can be purchased from the Microsoft Store or Steam for $50 instead of the initial $70 at release in February 2025. This is a significant reduction less than a year after launch.
The PS5 release will coincide with a major update for the game's anniversary, including New Game+, a photo mode, a new weapon type, new races, and other innovations. As noted in reviews, for $50, players will get a lot of content from Obsidian.
Avowed is also available on Xbox Game Pass, where most players are already familiar with the game on Series X|S and PC.
