Black Myth: Wukong Receives January Patch with Improved Performance and Graphics Fixes

In early 2026, the creators of Black Myth: Wukong returned and introduced an update for the game.

The developers addressed performance complaints and fixed several bugs:

• Fixed a bug that caused performance to be lower than expected when excessive sampling was enabled.
• Fixed a bug that prevented excessive sampling from being enabled when recommended graphics settings were selected.
• Fixed water display errors in the "Heart of Stone Birth" area.

• Fixed snow interaction errors that occurred under certain conditions.

• The Spirit of the Unblemished in the Hermit's Hut no longer causes an error that leads to a game crash.

• Fixed a bug that caused the graphical effects of some stone monkey abilities to disappear prematurely under certain graphics settings.

• Controller type settings are no longer reset after restarting the game.
