Rockstar Announces Mod Store for GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 Fans
Not only Bethesda is monetizing the creativity of fans.
Recently, the creators of Grand Theft Auto V announced a new initiative. Rockstar Games has introduced a mod store.
The project is managed by the Cfx.re team (which was acquired by Rockstar), and it is called "Cfx Marketplace."
In this store, developers can sell or share their work—maps, scripts, various assets, and other types of content.
The main target audience of the store are players in FiveM and RedM—these are multiplayer servers for GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2, which were made by Cfx.re.
The developers of Cfx Marketplace invite content creators to submit applications, promising to "contact them as [the store] further expands."
