The announcement says:

We already have several used gaming PCs, but if you want to upgrade your old hardware, consider selling it to us. We offer good prices and accept almost any computer — desktops, laptops, and even regular non-gaming models.

Previously, stores in Japan had already limited the sale of video cards (one per customer) due to the shortage.

The memory market situation is exacerbated by China, where DDR3, outdated processors, and motherboards are actively purchased for PC assembly. DDR3 was released in 2007.

VideoCardz reports:

We see an obvious trend: sales of motherboards with DDR3 are growing rapidly in China. Kits with processors and outdated boards are selling especially well.

The situation shows that the shortage of memory and old components has become global.
