Eidos Montreal, known for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, is preparing a new, yet unannounced project.
According to user Timur222, who discovered an entry on LinkedIn by studio employee Derian McCrea, the game has received AAAA status — a rare category with a record budget and number of developers.
The emergence of another project in the AAAA segment shows that this level of production is ceasing to be the exclusive prerogative of Ubisoft and Microsoft. AAAA implies a quality higher than standard AAA hits and indicates high technical and visual ambitions for the project.
Details have not yet been disclosed. Guardians of the Galaxy has already proven that Eidos Montreal knows how to create cinematic adventures, and the AAAA budget will allow the studio to achieve an even higher level of storytelling.
