The Board Zeppelin publishing house announced that pre-orders for the board game Dogfight 1917, which scored 7.7 points out of 10 on the BoardGameGeek portal, will open in the first half of February.

This is a dynamic competitive project for 2–4 people about aerial battles during the First World War, designed for fans of aviation, card engines, maneuvers and risky battles.

Each aircraft has its own deck and special skills, and the cards act not only as actions, but also reflect the level of "strength" of the machine. Basic attacks are only possible from the rear, so players will literally "sit on the tail" of the enemy, pursue him and, after the strike, withdraw the aircraft from the line of attack to avoid a collision.

The estimated price is about 3000 rubles. The game includes two additional modes: "2 on 2" — team battles where partners cover each other, enter in pairs and create real chaos in the sky; and "Free Mode" — for four pilots, where everyone fights for himself until the last survivor.

Dogfight 1917 is planned to be printed by the end of April. Russian-speaking players will be able to test themselves in aerial combat, most likely in the summer. In Russia, the board game will be called "Dogfight 1917" (Board Zeppelin employees decided not to be clever).
