The source of the information was representatives of Asus, who suggested that the models had reached the end of their life cycle. This gave rise to rumors of a halt in sales.
However, Asus's official position has changed. In a recent statement to Hardware Unboxed, the company emphasized:
GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5060 Ti 16GB are not discontinued and have not been removed from the lineup. ASUS has no plans to stop selling them. Current supply fluctuations are due to memory limitations, which temporarily affect production and restocking. This does not mean the end of production or the removal of the product from the lineup.
The shortage remains a temporary supply problem, and the cards will continue to be sold and supported by ASUS. The situation may stabilize as memory supplies improve.
