The game was announced at Tokyo Game Show 2024, but then the Unreal Engine 5 project went almost unnoticed. The situation is changing: in the latest video, the Chinese RPG attracts attention with the quality of graphics and the scale of the city in which the events unfold. The visual part looks so convincing that the gameplay is easy to confuse with concept art, especially considering that the project is being created by a debut developer.
The plot of the online RPG is based on the web novel of the same name, which first became popular in China, and then gained an audience outside of it. Lord of Mysteries will be released on PC and mobile devices, including an English version.
The publisher plans to conduct beta testing in February — details will appear on the official website. The game is expected to be released in 2026.
