Recently, a practicing CS2 tutor spoke with Gazeta.Ru. He talked about his activities and revealed his income.
The specialist has been involved in coaching in esports since 2017. Initially, he worked with players in online shooters Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, as well as Valorant, but over time he focused on CS2.
According to the Counter-Strike 2 tutor, a stable income from coaching appeared in the last two to three years, when he began actively offering his services online:
For me, esports lessons are the main income. I conduct both individual lessons and lessons for teams. Most of my students are teenagers who want to get into esports, but do not fully understand how difficult it is
In the summer, the demand for classes always falls - many students go on vacation with their parents, and with the beginning of the school year there is an influx of new students:
The learning process is structured taking into account the level of training of the players and their goals. The program is adapted to a specific student or team. For beginners, I help to understand the basic settings and basics of playing in attack and defense, and for more experienced players I offer in-depth theoretical classes devoted to the start of rounds, the choice of positions, training maps and teamwork
Usually a Counter-Strike 2 "lesson" lasts two hours (theory + practice). The average income of a tutor ranges from 80 to 120 thousand rubles per month, and in the most successful months, earnings can exceed 150 thousand rubles.
