Recently, members of the Arc Raiders community, including popular streamers (like Shroud and TheBurntPeanut ), have been actively complaining about the large number of cheaters.
The outrage was caused by the "softness" of the developers — Embark Studios only issued temporary bans to caught cheaters, and after 30 days they could return and try to play with cheats again. Some attackers specifically hunted streamers.
As a result, after complaints, Embark Studios revised its policy regarding cheaters. Community members noted that cheaters in Arc Raiders now receive a permanent ban (accounts are blocked forever).
