Gothic to Unite with Stronghold - Trailer Released for Twierdza Ryżowiec Mod with New Campaigns for the Strategy Game
Polish fans of "Gothic" decided to create content for the strategy game.
Recently, Polish modders released a trailer for the Twierdza Ryżowiec project. This is a mod crossover of the Gothic and Stronghold franchises.
Enthusiasts will offer Stronghold Crusader HD players four new campaigns in the style of Gothic and additional challenges, as well as Polish voice acting.
The developers said that "modding this old wreck [Stronghold Crusader HD] is worse and more unrewarding than modding Gothic, and the numerous technological limitations and engine features did not allow to implement everything as desired." Nevertheless, they hope that "Twierdza Ryżowiec will become a new game for you that you will want to return to."
The release of the Twierdza Ryżowiec mod is expected on January 25. To launch it, you will need "Twierdza: Krzyżowiec" (as Stronghold Crusader HD is called in the Polish localization)
