The New York Game Awards jury has determined the best games of the past year for the fourteenth time.
The best game of 2025 was Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. The project also received an award for best acting performance — Jennifer English won for the role of Mael.
Among other winners was Blue Prince, which won in the "Best Indie Game" category. Bethesda was recognized as the author of the best remake of 2025 for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. Nintendo received the award for the best project for children — Donkey Kong Bananza. The jury also noted Hades 2, which won in the "Best World" nomination, and South of Midnight, which was awarded for music.
