Since its release in 2007, the Assassin's Creed series has sold over 230 million copies, including the latest release, Shadows. According to the company, Black Flag attracted nearly 22% of all unique players in the franchise (34 million out of 155 million), while Valhalla accounted for 13%, or 20 million.
In second place in terms of sales is the rhythm game Just Dance with 80 million copies, followed by Far Cry with 60 million, including 10 million from Far Cry 5. The Ghost Recon and Splinter Cell series have sold 40 million and 30 million copies, respectively. Even less discussed franchises, such as Rabbids, have garnered 20 million copies.
Ubisoft emphasizes not only sales but also millions of unique players, reflecting the number of active users, including access through Xbox Game Pass and Ubisoft+.
