In January 2026, players noticed something strange with Remedy's games on Steam:
The name of the "Alan Wake Franchise bundle" was changed to "Alan Wake Origins bundle", and the graphic promotional materials were also updated.
Some users believe that this may be part of the preparation for the release of Alan Wake 2 on PC on Steam (the game is currently available on the Epic Games Store).
