Keen Games studio announced that players will receive the last major early access update (version 0.8) in the spring, featuring balance fixes, an improved combat system, and optimization.
With the release of version 1.0, new locations, enemies, and expanded cooperative world exploration mechanics will appear. The developers noted that the release of the full version does not complete the game's development but opens a new stage of support and content expansion.
Since the start of early access in January 2024, Enshrouded has attracted more than five million players.
