Xbox January Update: New Features and Ecosystem Expansion
Microsoft has announced the January update, which expands the capabilities of the Xbox platform on PCs with Arm processors, adds a save sync indicator, and prepares for the debut of Xbox Cloud on selected Smart TVs.
The main innovation is the support of the Xbox application on PCs with Windows 11 on the Arm architecture. Players will be able to download games from the Xbox PC catalog, including Xbox Game Pass products, and run them locally.
The update introduces the Game Save Sync Indicator, which allows you to track the synchronization of saves in the cloud in real time on PCs and mobile devices.
In 2026, the Xbox application will be available on Hisense TVs and models with V homeOS, which will allow you to stream games via Xbox Cloud Gaming directly to the screen.
