Cryptozoic Entertainment is going to please fans of the "Mortal Kombat" franchise. In the future, it intends to release the deck-building board game "Fight!: Mortal Kombat 1."
The project already has a page on Kickstarter, but it is not yet known when the crowdfunding campaign will start.
Participants will see their favorite characters, crush enemies, perform "Fatalities," and try out various techniques. "Fight!: Mortal Kombat 1" is created on the Cerberus system.
The main feature of this system is that all games based on it have similar rules and are fully compatible with each other, which allows mixing cards from different universes.
It uses one currency — Power. It is needed both for buying new cards and for defeating enemies. Each player chooses a unique hero who gives a passive bonus or a special ability for the entire round. Plus, there are always five random cards from the deck in the center of the table, available for purchase.
The game ends when the main deck is exhausted or all opponents are defeated. The winner is determined by the number of victory points.
