Recently, the authors of the action-RPG Knight's Path presented a gameplay trailer. Then they showed a female character with whom it will be possible to start a romantic relationship.
The promo materials for Knight's Path attracted the attention of players, and some decided to inquire about the developers' attitude towards various progressive things — they answered: "We care about games and fun, not the modern agenda."
Activists were unhappy with this and are now trying to cancel the game, for example, some latched onto the fact that AI tools were used — they are trying to label the game as "neuro-slop".
(in fact, the developers used these tools for tasks such as "grammar and spelling checking, text refinement, and brainstorming in the early stages," and this is written on the Steam page; the game content was created by the developers themselves, AI is not used for generation).
