StudioCanal S.A.S. and Cation Arts have announced that a licensed board game, Terminator 2 The Board Game, based on the film "Terminator 2: Judgment Day," is in development.
This project is likely to appear on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform in 2026, so it's worth starting to prepare for the opening of pre-orders.
In Terminator 2 The Board Game, each participant will play as one of the heroes of the film — John Connor, Sarah Connor, or T-800, and also survive in difficult conditions, as the characters are hunted by the T-1000 robot, created from a metallic polyalloy (it is capable of taking various forms, overcoming obstacles, and seeping through holes).
Players will see memorable artwork and various mechanics, make all sorts of tactical decisions, and find themselves in risky situations. Terminator 2 The Board Game supports one to three players in cooperative mode and up to four players in competitive mode.
The game designer is Mohammed Al-Qadi. He is the one who gave the world the board games All Time Wrestling and Conqueror: Final Conquest, which earned 8.2 points out of 10 on the BoardGameGeek portal.
