The developers of the long-haul truck driver simulators Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator have begun teasing a new module for the Driving Academy training mode, which will appear with update 1.58.
This time, the SCS Software team decided to offer virtual drivers in ETS 2 and ATS the opportunity to test their skills in driving a truck with a double trailer. It is designed for those who have completed the Truck Driving Basics module. It is not necessary to complete the Truck Driving Proficiency module, but it is desirable.
Several double trailer scenarios will be added to ETS 2 and ATS, including several pairs of scenarios dedicated to performing the same maneuver in reverse order, but with a different starting position.

We wanted to add some variety to the gameplay, so players in ETS2 and ATS will not get the same set of scenarios. Instead, each game offers its own unique challenges and its own type of double trailer. In ETS2, you will get hands-on experience with the European Euro Combi double trailer, while ATS drivers will face the B-Double challenge. Although this combination is not often seen on US roads, it provides an excellent opportunity to truly test your skills in controlling and maneuvering a long and complex configuration of a tractor with two trailers, as well as apply your knowledge of other trailer combinations.
