A Global Mod for Assassin's Creed Syndicate Returns the Dark Style From the 2014 Leaks
During development, the vision of the project changed significantly. A modder decided to bring back the old version.
Recently, players have once again remembered Assassin's Creed Syndicate. A global modification, Assassin's Creed Victory Project, has been released for the game, which aims to significantly transform it — to make it darker and more serious:
Assassin's Creed Victory is an ambitious mod conversion that will make the game look like it did in the early stages of development. In 2014, screenshots from that build leaked onto the network, and they are still easy to find on many websites. Anyone who looks at these screenshots will quickly realize that the new version of the game, Assassin's Creed Syndicate, is completely different in all aspects, primarily in tone. The original version was clearly much more serious, with a different appearance for the protagonist, etc.
In Assassin's Creed Victory Project, the modder added custom models and changed some story missions. The story concludes in the Jack the Ripper DLC. The modder also brought in someone to write the soundtrack.
The Assassin's Creed Victory Project modification is distributed for free via ModDB.
