Animal Crossing: New Horizons Tops Japanese Charts on Switch 2
The release of the Nintendo Switch 2 console has noticeably revitalized the market and changed the balance of power in game sales. The console has attracted attention, increasing interest in new releases and updated hits.
According to the latest Famitsu data for the week of January 12–18, the leadership in the Japanese charts has changed: Mario Kart World, after a long period of dominance, has ceded first place. The new leader is Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which received a new version for Switch 2. The game demonstrated sales of 31,372 copies, instantly returning to the top.
