Insider: Microsoft Prepares Second Xbox Developer_Direct in 2026

According to an informant, the company has more games in development, so Microsoft is considering holding another event in the coming months.
This was reported by insider Jez Corden on the Xbox Two podcast. According to him, Microsoft is seriously discussing a second Developer_Direct presentation in 2026 due to a "crowded" release calendar. The new show may be dedicated to games planned for the end of the year and the first half of 2027, which will maintain interest in Xbox against the backdrop of the absence of a Partner Preview event.
Among the key projects for a possible showing are Gears of War: E-Day and State of Decay 3, about which there has been almost no news lately. The possibility of announcing a Halo remake and demonstrating the current state of Clockwork Revolution's development is also being discussed.
