R-Type Dimensions III Will Return Retro Action in a New Format

R-Type Dimensions III will offer intense action with 2.5D graphics, a science fiction atmosphere, and many references to retro classics, which always have fans. The premiere is scheduled for May 2026, the exact date is still being specified.
The player controls the R-90 "Ragnarok" fighter, fighting the biomechanical Bydo Empire. The game combines the design of the original arcade R-Type with modern visual effects, co-op, and extended modes.
