Diablo IV Becomes the Fastest-Selling Game in Blizzard's History

The success is supported by regular updates and patches. After the release of the Vessel of Hatred expansion, fans are awaiting a new major expansion, Lord of Hatred, which will be released in April 2026. It will add a new character class and regions, as well as strengthen Diablo IV's position as a leader in the hack’n’slash genre.
The record was achieved despite internal difficulties: after Blizzard's acquisition by Microsoft in 2023, the team experienced a wave of layoffs and the process of unionization.
