At the end of January 2026, Blizzard returned to WarCraft III: Reforged once again. Update 2.0.4 was released for the strategy game, which players were previously able to test on a special PTR server.
The developers have updated the matchmaking — players can now queue in "3v3" and "4v4" modes as part of formed teams whose size is smaller than the game mode itself.
In addition, the WarCraft III: Reforged developers have made balance adjustments — they reviewed the unit parameters of different races and worked on optimization.
