A major update for Arc Raiders was recently released. The developers added new content and shared details about changes to the anti-cheat system.
They introduced a phased blocking system based on the "three strikes" principle. The ban duration will increase gradually: first a 30-day ban, then a 60-day ban, and for repeat offenders — a permanent ban. Not all Arc Raiders fans were satisfied with this approach.
Some members of the Arc Raiders community believe that this is too lenient a punishment — according to those dissatisfied, cheaters should be permanently banned immediately.
In the current system, it turns out that a cheater needs to be caught manipulating the game three times before the developers decide to stop them "forever." At the same time, there is a risk that the offender will become more cautious and not get caught. After a series of bans, they can buy the game on another account and will again have a reserve of "three attempts" for cheating.
