The developers will immerse players in the world of Chinese mythology.
Genigods Lab has unveiled GeniGods: Nezha (or 古神·风里希). The project is positioned as an action RPG based on the chaos of ancient Chinese myths about the creation of the world:
Players will take on the role of the Spirit Pearl — the first being created by the Creator Goddess Nüwa. Immerse yourself in the legendary stories of the Chinese cosmos, battle Colossal Gods, and experience a unique combat system of Chinese-style celestial battles.
The developers are preparing a mechanic that will allow players to "seamlessly switch between ground and aerial combat".
The game is being created using the modern Unreal Engine 5 and it is also noted that it is "optimized for PlayStation".
