WheelMates Announced - a Cooperative Adventure with RC Cars

Firevolt studio has announced WheelMates - a cooperative adventure in which two players control RC cars and explore the home of an eccentric scientist.

The release is scheduled for 2026 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Other platforms will be announced later. The first playtest on Steam will take place in February.

Players will have to uncover the house's secrets by controlling a pair of cars that work together and help each other. There are no timers or pressure in WheelMates — the gameplay is built entirely around cooperation. Online co-op and local split-screen play are supported.

The cars are equipped with jump boosters, hooks, magnetic wheels, and magnets that help overcome obstacles and interact with objects at a distance. Each room is a separate microworld with puzzles, hidden routes, and narrative elements. New abilities unlock access to previously unreachable areas.
