1C Game Studios continues to share details about "Korea. IL-2 Series." Recently, the developers decided to present the awards and talk about changes to the mechanics.
Previously, awards were issued automatically, but in "Korea" a new approach is used, since now the player can personally manage the unit.
In "Korea. IL-2 Series," players will have to decide which of their subordinates will receive an award. This decision is not merely "cosmetic" and has gameplay consequences:
Awards will also affect the gameplay itself: the timeliness and fairness of award nominations will influence the morale of subordinates, and therefore this issue will need to be monitored.
In total, there will be 66 awards in "Korea. IL-2 Series"; the published images show some of them:
Additionally, another 30 will be added as part of the first year's DLC lineup. Your subordinate will have to meet realistic criteria under which you, as his commander, will be able to nominate him for the appropriate award, meaning it will not be possible to hand out medals "left and right."
