At the beginning of February, the popular survival game Valheim turned five years old. The developers from Iron Gate addressed the community and released a special patch:
We thank everyone who set out on this journey with us and became part of our community, regardless of whether you started playing on day one or a valkyrie brought you here for the first time. Every one of you is very dear to us, and we are happy to be walking this path together. In honor of this anniversary, everyone can download a patch right now containing new festive items and emotes, as well as several gameplay improvements!
The Valheim team is currently working on the Far North, which will become the "final biome update, after which the game will be released in version 1.0".
For now, the developers cannot reveal details, but they are confident that "2026 will be a wonderful year for Valheim".
