The franchise continues to evolve.
Recently, the community of fans of the Five Nights at Freddy's horror franchise became lively again. The reason was a sudden message from the developer.
Scott Cawthon dropped by Dawko's charity stream and announced the development of a sequel:
A sequel to something is in the works. By the way, it's not "3", it's "2".
However, the creator did not specify which Five Nights at Freddy's exactly would be getting a "sequel" — now fans are making guesses. For example, versions being discussed include FNAF World 2 and FNAF Security Breach 2.
