The live-action trailer for Resident Evil Requiem has been released, starring Maika Monroe

The marketing campaign for the new RE continues to gain momentum.

Capcom recently released a new promo for Resident Evil Requiem. This time, it was made in the format of a live-action short film.

The actress Maika Monroe starred in "Evil Has Always Had A Name," having previously appeared in the films "Longlegs" and "It Follows."

According to the plot, a young woman and her daughter find themselves at the center of an epidemic, and they try to survive and find a way out of the situation.

For the final shots featuring Monroe's character's zombie version, the actress had to undergo makeup for about three and a half hours, according to this article.

Resident Evil Requiem is scheduled for release on February 27, 2026.
