Battlestate Games previously added several maps from Escape from Tarkov to EFT: Arena for an event. Update 0.4.2.5 was recently introduced — now those maps have been removed.
- Locations from Escape from Tarkov available as part of the in-game event "Dubak" have been disabled: "Obshchagi," "Lager," and "MChS Base";
- Snow and New Year decorations have been disabled on the locations: "Fort," "Port 5," and "District."
Players criticized the developers' decision — they would like to see summer versions of the beloved maps from "Tarkov".
The Escape from Tarkov: Arena developers also simplified the weapon tasks (the number of required subtasks to complete them remained unchanged).
They also made balance adjustments — changed the meta-weight of certain elements and rebalanced the experience gained:
Experience gained in all modes has been increased by values of up to 40%.
- For wins, draws, and losses;
- For kills, headshots, double kills, and kill streaks;
- For successful activation and deactivation of the device in BlastGang mode.
