The results for 2025 for Epic Games Store were recently summarized. The creators of the store presented several metrics — a decline is being observed in a number of key indicators.
MAU (Monthly Active Users) amounted to 67 million, which is 1% lower than the 2024 figure. DAU (Number of unique users per day) was 31 million — 2% lower.
The time players spent in third-party games amounted to 2.78 billion (up 4%), while total gameplay time was 6.65 billion — 14% less compared with last year. This means that the decline in the metric was driven by reduced activity in Fortnite and other Epic Games projects.
At the same time, revenue growth was observed: in 2025, users spent $1.16 billion in EGS — 6% more. Spending in third-party games rose by 57% to $400 million.
