Valve launched extended refunds for Ashes of Creation on Steam - the game was removed from sale and the developers were laid off

Players are starting to request refunds for the MMORPG.

It recently became known that the MMORPG Ashes of Creation is facing major problems — "the entire Intrepid Studios team was fired without pay".

Soon after, Ashes of Creation stopped being sold on Steam; there have been no additional notices on the game's store page:

Members of the Ashes of Creation community noted that Valve may refund the game even if more than the standard two hours were spent in it.

In some cases, refund requests were rejected automatically; however, after a full support request to Steam support (to a human operator), the money for the game was still refunded.
