Thanks to the cooperative tabletop game Anastyr Chronicles, users in Russia will also be able to transport themselves to the fantasy world of Alboraan, follow the heroes' adventures, battle dangerous enemies, and complete quests.
Publisher Board Zeppelin announced that it plans to release Anastyr Chronicles in Russia — a cooperative tabletop hack-and-slash game for 1–4 players.
The project combines dynamic gameplay and adventure elements in the spirit of dark fantasy. Gamers will travel across the world of Alboraan in search of the fragments of the Spear of the World — an ancient artifact capable of defeating Anastyr, the Dragon Queen, and her companion, the dragon Volkar.
Players will be able to visit the western plains and the icy northern peaks, impassable jungles, the bone swamps of the Firstborn, and mysterious hills shrouded in mist.
The first two adventures are: "Rise of the Blood Witch" and "Necromancer's Plague." Other adventures will be presented in the future. As you progress, the game board changes constantly.
Players will be able to explore dangerous locations, gather loot, tame the wild beasts of Alboraan, and clash with bosses. They will need to coordinate their actions, use combat cards to trigger all kinds of combinations, and activate the rage ability unique to each character.
The story of Anastyr Chronicles is built using quest cards, which indicate objectives, contain a narrative component, and also introduce various events and twists that drive the situation forward.
To play with expansions, the base Anastyr Chronicles box will be required; however, the additional adventure sets are completely independent from one another and can be played in any order.
