A major update is being prepared for the game.
The city-building strategy game Timberborn was released on Steam in "early access" format in 2021. The developers released a series of updates and are now preparing to launch version 1.0.
The list of changes in 1.0 has not yet been published, but the developers reminded players of some past achievements:
- Bots were added to the game and the list of buildings was expanded
- Three-dimensional water physics and 3D terrain were implemented
- The beaver factions were made truly unique
- A "transport" system appeared (ziplines and the like).
- Official support for mods and the "Steam Workshop" was added
The release of the full version of Timberborn is scheduled for March 5, 2026. However, open testing of update 1.0 is being conducted right now.
