Capcom's DRM solution is not popular with PC gamers either.

Recently, Capcom removed Denuvo from the Resident Evil 4 remake. However, the company immediately added its own Enigma DRM protection, which also does not have the best reputation in the gaming community.

After Enigma was installed, users began noting that the Resident Evil 4 remake started to run worse, with FPS dropping.

Judging by the presented videos, at times the gap in frame rate can exceed 30-40 FPS in favor of the cracked Resident Evil 4 remake.

On Steam Deck, user Deck Madness tested the version with Enigma and Denuvo — with the older DRM, the game performs somewhat better, with a gap of 10+ frames sometimes observed.
