MindsEye received devastating reviews and, according to Metacritic, became the \"worst game of 2025.\" At the release, there were claims of sabotage of the project, and, judging by the incoming insights, the developers were able to \"catch the guys\" who are allegedly responsible for this \"sabotage.\"
Insider Tom Henderson said that in January, co-CEO of MindsEye, Mark Gerhard, told employees about the capture of those responsible for the sabotage. He claimed that a \"very large American company\" was behind the campaign against MindsEye, but \"not the one that comes to mind.\"
According to Gerhard, more than a million euros were spent on the campaign against the game. Allegedly, one of the performers is Ritual Network — he accused the company of bribing bloggers, journalists, and some employees to damage the reputation of MindsEye and the studio Build a Rocket Boy.
Judging by the incoming messages, the MindsEye developers want to go to court, and also add the perpetrators of the \"sabotage\" to one of the upcoming missions.
