Capcom Reveals Resident Evil Requiem Playtime
Capcom has confirmed the playtime for Resident Evil Requiem. The approximate length of the main campaign is known.
In an interview, the game's producer, Masato Kumazawa, stated that Resident Evil Requiem is comparable in length to Resident Evil 4 Remake. This refers to a full-fledged story campaign without the feeling of a premature ending.
Completing the main story will take approximately 16–19 hours. Capcom has also confirmed the ability to switch the camera between first-person and third-person views. This changes the perception of exploration, combat, and horror elements, which may lead some players to replay the game to see what's happening from a different perspective.
The developers have also confirmed the presence of chapters. Resident Evil Requiem is divided into a number of episodes comparable to Resident Evil 4 Remake, indicating a similar campaign structure.
