Carmageddon Rogue Shift was recently released on consoles and PC. The project was not protected by Denuvo, so hackers quickly cracked the new game.
Reviews have begun to appear online and on the Carmageddon Rogue Shift Steam page — the first reviews are "mixed," with a 52% rating. Players note that this is "not Carmageddon," and also criticize the physics model and describe the gameplay as "boring and monotonous."
Judging by the comments, members of the pirate community were not attracted by the Carmageddon Rogue Shift hack and are not going to check out the "free" version. User AntiGrieferGames reviewed the feedback and stated: "I'd rather not pirate this game. So much criticism towards it..."
Terrible_Beat_6109 joined the discussion, who initially bought the game, but then played it and requested a refund:
I bought the game on Steam and got a refund. The game is terribly boring. There is no promised "story" — just [cycle] shop, race, shop, race.
