The developers have officially unveiled Endless Ragnarok, a major update designed to extend support for the action-RPG.
The Endless Ragnarok mode is geared towards fully upgraded squads and is a roguelike survival variation. Players will have to fend off increasingly difficult waves of enemies and bosses. The further you progress, the more valuable the rewards will become, including new sigils and upgrade materials.
The announcement is also important because Cygames had previously indicated that after the addition of the final raids, the team would switch to other projects. The sudden change of course and the release of large-scale content indicate that the game remains commercially successful and the active audience is significant.
Rumor has it that the update will also bring new playable characters and a rebalancing of less popular heroes to expand the selection beyond the current "meta". Minor visual improvements are also expected for next-gen consoles and high-performance PCs.
The Endless Ragnarok update is scheduled for release on June 9, 2026, simultaneously with the release of Granblue Fantasy: Relink on Nintendo Switch 2.
