Sony hasn't launched an official marketing campaign yet, but more and more specific information about the release is appearing. Previously, autumn 2026 was mentioned as an approximate date.
Now, PlayStation Store players in Latin America have noticed an indication of a release window in July–August 2026. This is not yet an official confirmation, but rather a "leak" or early preparation of the page for pre-orders.
If the information is correct, then the release time is ideal: the end of summer, when players are looking for a major hit for long evenings, and at the same time far from the release of GTA 6, scheduled for November.
For now, it is worth being cautious: the mark in the store is only a hint, and not a firm confirmation of the date.
