New information has emerged about the Nintendo Switch Online service, which allows you to play classic games.
Insider Nick Baker reported that three consoles may be added to the catalog: Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, and Sega Mega CD.
If the information is confirmed, these platforms will join the existing ones in the service: NES, SNES, Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo 64, GameCube, and Sega Mega Drive (via Expansion Pack).
There is no data yet on the exact release dates of the games or the order in which new consoles will be added. As with GameCube games, their appearance may take time.
Interest in these platforms is high: from the portable DS to the Wii with its family gaming movement, and even the Sega Mega CD, less popular but with many cult games.
