The first is Horizon Steel Frontiers, an open-world MMO. The second is Horizon Hunter Gathering, a cooperative action game with cartoon-style graphics. The problem is that the release platforms were chosen "in reverse."
The most technically advanced game, Steel Frontiers, will be released only on PC and mobile devices. The game has not yet been announced for PS5. Users do not understand why a project capable of fully showcasing the power of the console is available on smartphones, while only Hunters Gathering is coming to PS5. The second game, despite its simplified graphics, which would have been perfect for mobile devices and Switch, will not appear on those platforms.
As a result, only PC owners will be able to try both new releases. Fans believe that Sony has missed the potential of both games by choosing the wrong release platforms, which is hard to justify for a series with more than 40 million copies sold.
