Weta Workshop has unveiled a new limited edition statue of Elrond, herald of the High King of the Elves Gil-galad from \"The Lord of the Rings\" universe. Pre-order for this 1/6 scale collectible item should open on February 16 at 23:00 Moscow time.
The sculptors captured the famous half-elf participating in the Battle of the Last Alliance with Sauron.
He stands among the ruins of the battle, holding the battle banner of the High King, while the Dark Lord advances. Every detail of the sculpture is thought out taking into account its narrative weight.
The tension in Elrond's pose, the banner torn by the wind, and the restraint in his expression reflect the image of a leader bearing the burden of duty and sorrow. The scene seems to have frozen in anticipation - a moment when steadfastness is more important than victory, and the future of Middle-earth is still uncertain.
The polystone statue is 41 cm high, 23 cm wide, 30 cm deep and weighs 2.82 kg. Its release is expected in the fourth quarter of 2026.
