Shortly before Blizzard's special stream dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Diablo, players noticed the boot servers of Diablo II: Resurrected.
Judging by the dataminers' find, the developers are preparing not an ordinary update, but something very large — the fresh version is marked as "3.0" (while the "current" version, depending on the client, is considered 1.7 or 2.6).
Usually, very large updates with many changes / content are released under versions of the format "x.0".
Blizzard plans to hold a special stream on February 12 — they promise to talk about "upcoming innovations for Diablo Immortal and Diablo II: Resurrected".
