The leaked PS4 prototype was published on the Hidden Palace website. It was created by Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft Mumbai in 2020–2021. The build serial number is CUSA18521, which confirms the US region. This is a pre-load version that players could download before release to start playing immediately after unlocking. It is now fully encrypted and unplayable.
According to reports, the build was downloaded by a user during a random pre-load activation before the planned release in 2021. The data, weighing approximately 13 GB, is stored on an external drive. Most of it remains encrypted, and a password is required to decrypt it, otherwise an extremely complex brute-force method will have to be used. Among the unencrypted files is an image indicating support for remote play via PSVita.
