The majority of sales came from Steam — 56.1% versus 43.9% on PS5.
The largest number of players were from China — 48.7%. Considering Japan and Taiwan, almost two-thirds of the audience comes from these regions. Many Nioh 2 fans returned to the sequel: 66.6% on Steam and 69% on PlayStation.
More than 80% of players had previously completed Elden Ring on Steam. Fans of Black Myth: Wukong also showed activity — about 71.3% of Nioh 3 players are familiar with this action-RPG.
In terms of sales, the start was stronger than Nioh 1 (1 million copies in two weeks), but weaker than Nioh 2, which achieved this result in two days without a PC release. The impact of the $70 price is still unknown, and official data from Koei Tecmo has not yet been received.
